UPCOMING 2011 SCHEDULED WEEKEND NIGHT SHOWS

Saturday February 25, 8PM - Mr Mustache !!!

These guys wowed us with a half show last year and return for their own night! Details upcoming.

Mr. Mustache and their opening act, Christ, Lord take the stage on Feb 25!!

Biographies for each band:

Mr. Mustache is an Americana Folk sextet from McDonough,Georgia with one goal: To create great art and music on a regular basis. With their first LP "Broken-Hearted Dance" to be released on February 25th, the bands main focus is to play as many shows and put the music in as many people's ears as possible. With nothing more than 6 distinct voices, banjos, guitars, upright bass, bells, organ, and a very talented drummer, Mr. Mustache paints pictures of the southern working-class as seen through young and often misunderstood eyes.

With no fewer than six members, the band "Christ, Lord "utilizes upright bass, violin, cello, trumpet, clarinet, accordion and drums. Their first album titled "Magnalia Christi" draws from influences ranging gypsy, vaudeville, folk, and jazz. The band remains beautifully ramshackle.

Lizzie Edwards: One of "our own"!

Lizzie Edwards is a 16 year old singer-songwriter new to the music scene.  A native of Florida, and current Atlanta resident, she wrote her first song at the age of 13 and her passion for music continues to grow.  In the summer of 2011, Lizzie began writing music and performing her original compositions in and around the Atlanta area.  Although relatively new to her craft, her songwriting talents are receiving much attention from veterans of the trade.  Fellow musicians have compared Lizzie to the likes of Taylor Swift, Ingrid Michaelson, and Colbie Caillat.  The raw emotion and vulnerability in her lyrics never fails to move her audience.

For more information, you can find Lizzie on Facebook, LizzieEdwardsMusic.com, or her YouTube channel: LizzieEdwards186.

Saturday April 21, 8PM- Louis Robinson Presents !!!

England’s National Day is St George’s Day April 23rd (also Shakespeare’s birthday).

During the years 1939 to 1941 (when the USA entered WW2) Britain stood alone against Hitler. Against what seemed insurmountable odds and an imminent Nazi invasion was a spirit of defiance reflected in the music of the day. To celebrate those days, Louis Robinson presents an inspirational evening of “Hits from the Blitz” – a collection of songs from wartime Britain.

(An English cream tea will be served.)
