 Daniel LiptonDan Lipton

Dan Lipton is a DC-based singer-songwriter. Dan’s playing style has been influenced by pickers from Atlanta, Charlottesville, and Brooklyn. His songs fall somewhere in between Americana, folk and even alt-country, combining occasionally jazzy chords with an almost Country/Western twangy vocal style.

Lindsay PetschLindsay Petsch

From an early age, Lindsay has expressed a strong interest in the arts, including poetry, painting and drawing, and music. At the age of five, he began performing with the Atlanta Boy Choir, during which time he also began playing the piano. During his teens, Lindsay’s interests turned towards rock music and the guitar, and from age 13-15 he studied electric guitar with Sam McPherson at Maple Street Guitars (then Atlanta Guitar Center). He also continued to sing in the Westminster Schools Chorus, Ensemble, and Men’s Acapella during high school. In his late teens, Lindsay took an active interest in songwriting, as well as folk and instrumental guitar styles. While he has benefited from the advice and instruction of many great guitarists and musicians, Lindsay has never formally studied the guitar, and thus he has slowly and stubbornly cultivated his own approach to the instrument. For over three years, he hosted the String Club songwriters’ circle at JavaMonkey in Decatur, which he established with friends, Allison Adams and Jimmy Galloway. Apart from private shows, Lindsay has also performed in a variety of venues in Atlanta including: the Red Light Cafe, Smiths Olde Bar, Steve’s Live Music, WRFG 89.3, and the Grant Park Summer Shade Festival. Lindsay draws inspiration from a broad exposure to many genres of music, but he strives to compose music that tells a story, both melodically and lyrically.

Allison Adams

ALLISON ADAMS ( is a singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist living in Decatur, Georgia. Literate and lyrical, her songs illuminate the transcendent in the ordinary — the exhilaration of fresh laundry on the line, the poignance of a small-town beauty pageant, the warmth of a waitress serving up comfort to the lonely. Her sonic and songwriting influences include Nanci Griffith, Kate Campbell, Patti Griffin, Shawn Colvin, and her many musical friends in the Atlanta area with whom she often partners in performance.
